Build Your Financial Future from the Ground Up

A practical 12-week program for Australians who want to understand money better. No fancy jargon, just real strategies that work in everyday life.

Start Your Journey

Learning that fits into real life

Most of us weren't taught much about money at school. We figure things out as we go, sometimes making expensive mistakes along the way. This program is different.

You'll spend three months learning practical budgeting skills that actually make sense. Classes run Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, starting September 16, 2025. Come in person at our Port Macquarie location or join online from anywhere in Australia.

Between sessions, you'll work on your own budget with real numbers. Some weeks you'll breeze through. Others might challenge you. That's normal, and we're here to help when you get stuck.

What You'll Actually Learn

Four modules that build on each other. By the end, you'll have a complete budget system that works for your situation.

01

Understanding Where Your Money Goes

Most people have no idea what they really spend each month. We'll track everything for two weeks and look at the patterns. It's eye-opening, sometimes uncomfortable, but always useful.

Expense tracking Spending patterns Financial awareness Money habits
02

Creating a Budget That Doesn't Feel Like Punishment

Budgets fail when they're too restrictive. You'll design one that covers essentials, includes things you enjoy, and leaves room for unexpected expenses. Because life happens.

Budget structure Priority setting Flexible planning Emergency buffers
03

Dealing with Debt Without Losing Your Mind

Credit cards, car loans, HECS debt. We'll map out what you owe and create a realistic payoff strategy. Plus how to avoid taking on more debt just to keep up appearances.

Debt assessment Repayment strategies Interest management Credit health
04

Building Financial Confidence for the Long Run

The final three weeks focus on maintaining what you've built. How to adjust when income changes, handle unexpected costs, and keep your budget alive past the course end date.
